However, the description suggests that there is still some spark between the estranged couple and the pregnancy could play a major role in bringing them together.

According to a sneak peek, Ben will perform an emergency caesarean section on a patient, which leaves the life of the newborn in danger. His reckless decision to operate on the pregnant woman without proper surgical equipment will land the hospital in grave danger. Miranda Bailey, meanwhile, will sternly ask Ben to come out of the ICU to stop him from doing more damage to the newborn.

"It's going to get real hectic," actor Jason George told Moviefoneabout the upcoming fight between his character Ben and Miranda. "At the end of the day, Ben has this real tough situation where he is a really experienced doctor, but a new surgeon. So you can think more of your skills than you might have, or you might be making the right choice. It creates this place where maybe he did the right thing, but they think he did the wrong thing. Or he did the wrong thing, but he thinks he did the right thing. So there are some situations coming up that are going to push all that really to an explosive level, and inevitably it spills over to their relationship," he added.

The official synopsis for episode 18 titled There's A Fine, Fine Line, reads: After a missing child forces the hospital into lockdown, Ben decides to operate on a pregnant mother without the proper surgical equipment. Miranda, as Chief, is faced with the repercussions of the event and whether or not Ben's impulsive actions were justified.

The official description for episode 19 titled It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) reads: Miranda continues to deal with the aftermath of Ben's reckless decisions and forms an advisory committee to recommend proper disciplinary action against him. Meanwhile, April and Jackson try to put their differences aside for the sake of their baby, and Arizona makes a decision that could affect her relationship with Callie forever.
