A Queensland woman's quiet act of love for her deaf partner at an Alex Warren concert has captured the attention of millions online, after she secretly prepared to sign along to every song so he could experience the performance with her, turning a deeply personal gesture into a viral moment of love and connection.

Mikayla Booth attended Alex Warren's Brisbane show with her partner, Nyle McQuitty, after they got last-minute tickets despite knowing an interpreter wouldn't be available.

Rather than let Nyle miss out, Mikayla spent the days leading up to the concert learning Warren's songs and working through their lyrics so she could sign them accurately during the concert.

The effort was captured on video by TikTok user Sophie Williams, who shared the emotional moment online. The clip has since amassed more than 29 million views.

Speaking on Australia's Today show, Mikayla revealed Nyle did not initially realise just how much preparation she had put into making the concert accessible for him.

After learning there would be no Auslan interpreter, she went online to find the songs from Warren's 2026 tour and listened to them repeatedly in the car.

'So that when we went, I made sure I knew all of the songs that were playing so that I could basically just interpret the whole concert instead of having a professional interpreter,' she said.

Mikayla said Nyle did not realise what she was preparing for because she often sings and signs along to songs for fun while driving.

'I don't think he realised that I was actually unpacking the songs in my head, understanding the lyrics to be able to actually sign them accurately while we were there,' she said on Today.

The couple had originally tried to organise tickets in March, but Mikayla said they were told in August that an interpreter could not be provided and that they could not bring their own interpreter.

When a friend later offered tickets at the last minute, Mikayla asked Nyle if he wanted to go, despite knowing there would be no interpreter available.

'I can't have him go without an interpreter. He can't go without access. It's far too important,' she recalled thinking.

Nyle Says He 'Felt So Seen' by His Partner

Nyle admitted he was unsure how much of the concert he would be able to understand without an interpreter, although he knew he would enjoy being there with Mikayla.

That changed when he realised she had prepared to sign the songs for him.

Describing his reaction as 'a wonderful feeling,' Nyle said the gesture made him feel 'so seen' and filled him with 'a true feeling of love.'

The original viral footage shows the couple looking at each other during the performance, with Mikayla signing while Nyle watches her. When asked how she felt seeing the look on her partner's face, Mikayla said it was nothing new to her.

'He's been looking at me like that for so long now and it's my normal and I will never get enough,' she said.

She added that she also feels 'seen' and appreciated by Nyle in other ways, calling their relationship 'true love.'

The emotional exchange has since resonated widely online, turning a quiet act of consideration between two partners into a viral concert moment.
