Police in Texas found a fully loaded gun hidden inside a woman's vagina after they pulled the vehicle she was passenger in over for a traffic violation. Officers discovered the weapon during a search after officers pulled over driver Gabriel Garcia in his 1998 Toyota Land Cruiser in north Waco on 7 September.

During the search, police discovered 2.7 grams of methamphetamine under the driver's seat as, well as a further another 29.5 grams of meth in the purse of the 31-year-old female passenger, Ashley Cecilia Castaneda.

As they were pulled over near to an elementary school, both suspects were arrested for possession of methamphetamine in a drug-free zone – meaning they could face tougher penalties under US federal law.

While being transported to jail, Castaneda told officers she had concealed a fully loaded Smith and Wesson .22-caliber pistol inside her vagina. She was then charged further with unlawfully carrying a weapon.
