D4vd Case Update: Reddit Post Claiming to Be Singer's Friend Aysia Collins Says She's 'Working in Silence' for Celeste Rivas' Justice

In the midst of the confirmation that Celeste Rivas' remains was dismembered and placed inside two cadaver bags, a Reddit post claiming to be one of D4vd's close friends, Aysia Collins, said that she is 'working in silence' for the 15-year-old to get justice.

The update comes months after Rivas' remains were discovered in September 2025 in the front trunk of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The vehicle was located at a Los Angeles impound lot after staff reported a foul odour. Authorities later confirmed that D4vd is now the 'target' of the murder investigation.

Reddit Post Sparks Renewed Interest

In a subreddit dedicated to updates and speculations about the Rivas case, a Reddit user with the handle u/Ehshuhcoolens claimed to be Aysia Collins. The post began with: 'Hi this is Aysia. Yes, it's actually my account. Just wanted to come on here and state a few things because a lot of things have gotten out of hand.'

Collins emphasised that she is 'no longer friends with David,' a point she said she had already made clear on multiple platforms. She added: 'I am respecting the investigation as well as Celeste Rivas.'

She also called out internet sleuths, saying: 'You guys do not know everything going on as much as you have done digging,' and admitted that she is 'lost' as well.

Collins Speaks Out on Harrasment

Collins went on to describe harassment she experienced since being linked to the case, saying that the 'harassment has gotten horrible.'

She added, 'I have people being extremely misogynistic and terrible towards me because of things they believe to be true, but not actually having any facts'.

Collins also said that personal photos and information about her has been shared online, leading to stalkers and threats. 'I have had people track me down at work, stalk me, threaten to kill me, threaten to eat me, chop me up, you name it,' she posted.

Recent Reddit threads have circulated images of Collins alongside speculation about her involvement, further fuelling online scrutiny.

Collins Calls for Justice for Rivas

Collins stated that she 'only want justice for Celeste Rivas as a young girls life was taken,' adding that she had experienced grooming herself when younger.

Towards the end of her post, Collins said that she's 'working in silence' to bring justice to the 15-year-old. She wrote: 'Yet people don't know how hard I am working in silence to bring justice to Celeste Rivas in the ways that I can.'

'I would appreciate if people actually sat back and thought about the harassment you are bringing people who have nothing to do with the case,' she added. Collins also said it would be her last public statement until she feels ready to speak again.

The post quickly gained traction, especially among those invested in the case, with some questioning the authenticity of both the post and the person behind it. However, Collins later confirmed on Instagram that she was indeed the one who posted it.

Collins Responds to Questions

The post was instantly flooded with questions from users. One asked: 'Why do you keep wearing David's hoodie ? Also, why did you lie about not knowing who celeste rivas was in your first post addressing all of this?'

Collins replied: 'I didn't know who she was. I met her once for five mins. Is that knowing her? I don't think so personally. And the hoodie thing is dumb, it's my hoodie not his. He just wore it one time'.

Another user asked about the dynamic between Rivas and D4vd: 'We wanna know what it was like when she was around with David....he literally dismembered her body.'

Collins responded: 'understand you are curious, but I wasn't around her :( she was hidden from me.'

Conflicting Accounts

Social media users quickly pointed out that according to the post of Private Investigator Steve Fisher, Collins was among the people photographed with Rivas on 31 December 2024 at D4vd's house. On X, Fischer said he 'didn't use a picture that included her. But she was there that night.'

Collins has not been publicly named or called to testify as a witness before the Los Angeles grand jury in the murder case. However, she has been alleged to be the singer's girlfriend and described as the 'uncooperative female witness' during an LA County grand jury hearing.
