Supermodel Cara Delevingne has reportedly landed the ultimate job as the new face of high-street favourite Topshop.

The 21-year-old beauty, who has fronted campaigns for designers including Burberry and DKNY, will star in the brand's global autumn/winter 2014 campaign, British Vogue has reported.

Topshop will start rolling out the print and outdoor adverts online, and in its stores, later this summer.

Although the brand is yet to officially announce her appointment, Delevingne is expected to make her debut in the next coming weeks.

The former Victoria Secret's model already has her hand in a few new projects, having recently created a collection of handbags for Mulberry and acted alongside Johnny Depp, for forthcoming movie London Fields.

Despite hanging out with superstar friends, such as like Rihanna and Harry Styles , Delevingne admits she is still not used to fame.

"When I was growing up, I was fans of so many people in music and acting, but it's a different kind of fandom now, it's like they're obsessed," she told the Guardian.

"They find one person they obsess over and they follow them – they have to know everything about their lives, because you have that access, Instagram and Twitter, you can literally be a part of their lives. It's kind of scary really."

News of her new job with Topshop comes days after she hit out at claims published in US Vogue that she fell asleep on fashion shoots.

Here's hoping that her quirky style and iconic eyebrows will encourage Philip Green to enlist her to design a capsule collection that would make Kate Moss proud.
