Kristina Rihanoff has revealed she is three months pregnant. The former Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer dropped the bombshell on her Celebrity Big Brother housemates on Thursday (7 January) night.

The 36-year-old Russian star who is in a relationship with rugby player Ben Cohen who she met on the BBC dance reality show, confirmed they are expecting their first child together. "There was something {that} happened in my life before I came into the house over Christmas," she explained. "And obviously I thought it's very private news, you know but because we are living as one family now and everybody is sort of supporting one another now. It happened to be that I found that my boyfriend and I are going to have a little one," she revealed.

While the housemates celebrated the news with her, an emotional Kristina admitted she only discovered that she was expecting recently. "Well I found over Christmas. Thank you guys, I just didn't know how to break it, what to say, when to say, it played on my mind and I wanted everyone to hear."

The Strictly curse, that has been credited with breaking up the marriages of many of its celebrity contestants, struck again when Ben and Kristina were partnered up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. The pair claimed they were just friends during the dance show, and only got together as a couple after Ben's marriage of 11 years to wife Abbey broke down a year later.

In 2013, Kristina revealed she had also broken up with her former dance partner Joe Calzaghe as they couldn't not agree on whether to have children. The professional dancer opened up about her romance with Ben a few months ago and denied that she had any part to play in the breakdown of Ben's marriage

She told The Sun on Sunday: "We are in a committed relationship, and of course, that involves love. We're constantly together - either at my place or his. We're still very new so there's much more left to grow hopefully. It's a work in progress. Ben's said it many times and I'll say it again - I wasn't involved in the breaking up of his marriage."

The sports star's estranged wife Abby has a different version of events. Describing their split and the subsequent divorce as 'the most traumatic thing to ever happen to me', she said: "My husband, who I was with for 23 years, unconditionally loved and was completely loyal to in every respect, has left me for a f***ing Russian dancer. He's done the dirty on me. I'm just trying to recover from what has been the most horrific time of my life."

The rugby player met Abby in 1995, at the age of 17. The couple married in 2003 before having their twin daughters, Harriette and Isabelle in 2008.

Confirming the reality TV star's baby news, Kristina's spokesperson said: "Kristina and Ben were surprised and delighted to find out that she was pregnant shortly before she entered the Big Brother house. She is well and looking forward to being a mum."

While Kristina's pregnancy was a cause for excitement in the Big Brother house, it seems romance is in the air. Day three and the flirting has begun, as the celebrities are beginning to set their sights on possible romantic partners in the house.

Scotty T certainly seemed to think that Nancy Dell'Olio has her eye on him. "She has a bit of a crush on me," he said in the diary room. In fact the Italian beauty seemed to be making moves on tattooed model Jeremy McConnell as she leaned in for a hug following a difference of opinion.

In fact, Jeremy is proving popular with the women in the house and has also been cosying up for cuddles with Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis. "You're going to get me in trouble. If you leave I'll be heart broken," she said, admitting to having a crush on the former Mr Ireland.

Gemma too couldn't help but admire Darren Day ... for his walk. "You're so smooth. It's like effortless," she gushed. Darren wasn't too thrilled by the complement. " Aww nah, You're telling me I'm like Zoolander," he replied.

The TOWIE star was full of praise for all the men in the house telling Scotty T he was "marriage material."

Winston meanwhile, who had already sparked controversy for his homophobic comments, provided another cringe worthy moment as he persuaded Tiffany Pollard to join him on his bed. The hashtag #CBB Winston was quickly trending on Twitter as viewers expressed their disgust at his sleazy conduct. "its sad that in this day and age there are still people like #cbbwinston hope he leaves soon," wrote on irate viewer. "That was uncomfortable to watch," said another.

Winston also provoked more anger during a discussion about the sleeping arrangements in the house. "I ain't sharing a bed with no geezer," he said.

Speaking on Big Brother's Bit on the Side, former contestant Michelle Visage summed up the public sentiment perfectly. "Noone wants to share a bed with you Winston."

Unsurprisingly, Winston has been nominated for the first eviction along with Kristina and Nancy.
