Pippa O'Connor's Stepdaughter Breaks 'Almost 18 Years' of Silence With Claim She Was 'Erased' From Family

Pippa O'Connor's stepdaughter, Chloe Ormond, has alleged that she spent 'almost 18 years' feeling excluded from her family, claiming she was made to feel 'erased' from the life shared by the beauty entrepreneur and her father, television presenter Brian Ormond.

The 26-year-old content creator made the allegations in a statement shared on her Instagram Story on Monday. Chloe said she had remained silent to protect her family's public image, but claimed her private experience had been very different.

Among her allegations, Chloe said there was 'not one photograph' of her displayed in Pippa and Brian's Kildare home and that her achievements had gone unacknowledged. She also claimed her father's support sometimes felt as though it required Pippa's approval.

Chloe Alleges Years Of Exclusion

Chloe described the situation as a long-running pattern that continued from childhood into adulthood, alleging repeated exclusion that left her feeling unwanted within her own family.

She claimed she had been made to feel 'like an inconvenience in my own father's life' and said she had repeatedly tried to repair the relationship, but alleged the same problems continued.

Chloe also alleged that Brian had 'condoned' behaviour that hurt her, while stressing that she continued to love her father and three younger half-brothers.

She said the experience had affected her mental health and argued that family should not be treated as a brand image, saying kindness shown publicly meant little if it ended behind closed doors.

In a follow-up post on Tuesday, Chloe rejected suggestions that she had spoken out for 'attention, sympathy or financial gain'. She said she did not rely on her family financially and thanked followers for what she described as an 'overwhelming' level of support.

Earlier Praise For Pippa And Brian

The allegations contrast with Chloe's earlier public comments about Pippa and Brian.

In a 2024 interview with Goss.ie, Chloe described Pippa as a 'great influence' when she was starting her career. She said she still looked to her for advice and called her an 'inspiration'.

Brian has also previously spoken publicly about his relationship with Chloe. In a 2022 interview, he described her as a 'great friend, sister and daughter', said he was proud of her and added that she could call him if she had a problem.

The family had also appeared publicly together earlier this year. Chloe featured on Pippa's Instagram feed in March in a post about her half-brother Ollie's confirmation, where she served as his sponsor. Around the same time, Brian congratulated Chloe after she qualified as a Reformer Pilates instructor.

Pippa And Brian Have Not Responded

Chloe is Brian's daughter from his previous relationship with Natara Byrne. Pippa became her stepmother after marrying Brian in 2011, and the couple have three sons together, Ollie, Louis and Billy. Pippa and Brian began dating in 2008.

A representative for Pippa and Brian declined to comment when contacted about Chloe's allegations. Chloe did not respond to a separate request for comment.

The allegations about Chloe's family relationships have not been independently established. Her latest statement marks a change from her earlier public comments about Pippa and Brian, neither of whom has publicly addressed the claims.
