Man Arrested Over Alleged Racists Twitter Comments against Fabrice Muamba
A 21-year-old man has been arrested following allegations that he made some racially offensive comments, on Twitter, about Bolton star Fabrice Muamba, who is currently fighting life and death at London's Chest Hospital, according to a Daily Mail report.
The comments of @liamstacey9 (name of the man's account) caused chaos on the micro-blogging site enraging many people.
"Your sick tweets have been passed on to the Police," an enraged person posted on Twitter.
Dear @SwanseaUni are you aware your student @LiamStacey9 has been tweeting racist abuse regarding the serious injury of a black man? RT PLS," posted another.
However, the 21-year-old suspect, who is now in the custody of the police, claims that his account has been hacked.
"South Wales Police have arrested a 21-year-old male from the Pontypridd area in connection with racially offensive comments made on the social media site Twitter. The male is currently being held in custody at Swansea Central Police station. There is no further information at this time," the Daily Mail quoted a police spokesman as saying.
Meanwhile, there is another person known as Chet Walken (@Walken4GOP) whose racial comments about Fabrice Muamba have also been causing an outrage on the micro blogging site.
"Great news that @LiamStacey9 has been arrested, for racist tweets about Muamba! Hopefully @SuperAlex707 and @Walken4GOP are next," a person tweeted.
