Football Transfer News: Chelsea, Real Madrid Lose Out as Aguero Heads For Eastlands

Sergio Aguero is expected in England this morning to agree personal terms with Manchester City, ahead of the striker's £38m move to Eastlands.

Aguero, 23, left Argentina for Manchester on Tuesday night after City finally agreed a deal with his current club, Atletico Madrid.

If talks proceed as expected, Aguero is expected to sign a five-year contract worth around £200,000 a week, making him one of the highest-earners in the Premier League.

City manager Roberto Mancini expects to lose Carlos Tevez before the end of the transfer window and Aguero, who scored 74 goals in 175 appearances for Los Colchoneros, is seen as an ideal replacement for the current club captain.
