Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Reportedly Face Privacy Scare After International Paparazzi Spotted Near School

Prince Harry and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan, have raised fresh privacy concerns after two photographers were reportedly seen around their children's school in England.

The incident comes weeks after Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet changed schools following discussions with the family's security team about the practicalities of their daily journey.

The couple have not publicly identified the children's current school. According to reports, the international photographers were seen separately before later appearing together near the school.

Security personnel working for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly noted the vehicle's registration number. Police later established that the car was rented and identified the men as international photographers, according to reports. No confirmed public report has said photographs of Archie or Lilibet were taken or published.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan criticised the photographers' conduct, describing activity around a school as reckless and an intrusion into children's privacy. The spokesperson's criticism focused on the reported conduct around the school rather than alleging that a particular image had been taken.

The family has sought to keep both the school and their home address out of the public domain, limiting information that could reveal the children's routine.

Prince Harry and Meghan Changed Their Children's School

Archie and Lilibet had already changed schools shortly after starting at their initial school following the family's return to Britain.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed in September that the children moved after two days. The decision followed discussions with the family's security team over the journey to and from school.

Reports said the distance and heavy traffic on the route were among the concerns raised. The repeated school run was also considered from a security perspective because it would require the family to travel at regular times.

Charles Spencer Reflects on Paparazzi Conduct

Reports have emerged that Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer, Harry's uncle and the brother of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, has spoken publicly about paparazzi conduct during Diana's life.

In an interview with CNN, Spencer said he believed the worst forms of paparazzi behaviour had become less common in London since the 1990s. He also recalled photographers using provocative tactics to elicit reactions from Diana.

According to Spencer, photographers sometimes shouted offensive remarks and then photographed her response. His comments reflected Diana's experience rather than describing the photographers recently seen near the Sussex children's school.

In a separate CBC interview, Spencer also spoke about how the media treated Harry and Meghan. 'I don't care how famous someone is, you cannot justify vicious personal attacks,' he said.

The Sussexes returned to Britain in late August. Since then, much of what the public has seen of their life in the country has come through photographs and videos Meghan or people close to the couple have shared voluntarily.
