Katie Price has once again found herself at the centre of public discussion after appearing on Good Morning Britain. The media personality and former glamour model addressed the concerns and criticism she had been receiving over her dramatic weight loss, following notable changes in her appearance.

During the interview, Price spoke candidly about her weight loss, medical checks, and personal life, insisting that she remains 'happy and healthy.' The conversation also touched on her recent marriage, which has sparked equal measures of curiosity and criticism.

Katie Price Responds to Health Concerns

Price appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday, 16 March, speaking with presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about her recent marriage to Lee Andrews, 41.

Reid raised the issue of Price's weight loss, admitting that she was 'concerned.' She asked: 'Katie, can I ask cuz I am concerned about your weight because you are very very very skinny.' Price replied that she was 'glad' Reid asked about it.

Reid followed up: 'Now, people do say, is it because you are overdoing the weight loss medication or are you a healthy weight? Have you got that established?'

Price acknowledged the speculation and gave fans a health update, 'People that follow me online will know I have lost weight. I recognise I have lost weight. I look too skinny, I look gaunt,' she shared.

Price shared: 'So I have been to the doctors, to see why am I losing, I have done all the blood tests, I have even done the poo one, as well, to find out.'

When asked if doctors had confirmed she was healthy, Price responded: 'I said to them, everyone said I am on Ozempic, they said, well we can tell in your bloods you're not. I am lacking in iron, they are now checking the other bit. And I am going through pre-menopause at the moment as well'.

Price concluded firmly, 'I am healthy, so nobody worry about me'.

Opening Up About Marriage

Price also discussed her marriage, describing her relationship with Andrews as 'different to any other.' The pair got engaged just 48 hours after meeting in Dubai and married soon after in March.

'Now, with Lee, it's so different to any other relationship and it works for me. Number one, he lives in Dubai. Every relationship I've had, I've literally met them, they've met the kids, moved in, and then they're just in my space'.

She added, 'I want to have time for me to do things for me. So it works very well. He lives in Dubai. When I've got the kids, I've got the kids. When I haven't, then I can see him. It just works well for me. I can do my work. I've got my own space, my own thing to do everything'.

Price confirmed that although she and Andrews call each other every day, her children have not yet met her husband.

Addressing the speed of their marriage, Price explained: 'I think the thing that everyone can't get their head around is, why have I married him quick? I was there, we got engaged, and it just felt right. So why not get married?'

She admitted that others may find it unusual or hard to understand, but said that people should not 'underestimate her and her decision.'

'I think people shouldn't underestimate me and my decisions. I'm older, I've learned a lot. And it feels right for me. I'm happy and I just want people to be happy for me.' She added she has 'seen everything I need to see' about her husband's life.

Price also said, 'I just think, let people just give us a chance. I think the fact, because I married him so quick, I think that's the shock. If I had just met him, people wouldn't be so worried.'
