The hashtag #kyliejennerchallenge has been dominating social media over the last few days, resulting in some pretty shocking images showing young fans trying to enhance their lips by applying extreme suction to their mouths.
People are doing this to achieve a bigger pout so they can resemble the young reality star, but unsurprisingly it rarely works as it is intended to, causing some rather unwanted results.
The craze, inspired heavily by the looks of the Kardashian sisters and full-lipped celebrities alike, came about just as a new product called Fullips Lip Enhancers hit the market. The enhancers, made in the USA, are "small self-suction devices" that can help combat the look of thinner lips and make them plumper.
But fans who want lips like Kylie Jenner and don't have the money to pay for a legitimate Fullips enhancer have been turning to items such as deodorant lids, yoghurt pots and even shot glasses to achieve the look.
Of course, these makeshift items often result in lips looking far from how the user intended them to appear, so IBTimes UK took a look at some of Twitter participants' worst attempts when it comes to the #kyliejennerchallenge. [Be warned, some of the images are not very pleasant].
