The LG G6 comes with a dual 13 megapixel rear camera, including a 125-degree lens on the wide angle. With this the G6 can capture panoramic shots that the regular smartphones can't.

The G6, as LG claims, delivers a unique camera experience by creating a transition when zooming in and out between wide-angle and standard camera lenses during a 4K video capture. The wide-angle camera also reduces edge distortion, which in turn delivers more natural photos.

All these camera features of the G6 can now be accessed on the G5 smartphone. XDA developer xpirt managed to port the G6 camera app to the G5. But the apps will work only if your G5 is running on Fulmics ROM.

The G6 camera app will replace the stock camera app on the G5, but you will still have all the G5 camera features working. In addition, you will get manual video mode and working GIF encoder on your G5, with the port.

Installing the G6 camera app on G5 is quite easy. It can be done through recovery mode, if you have a custom version such as CWM or TWRP recovery on the G5 running on Fulmics ROM.
