Milania Giudice's Shocking Airport Outburst Exposed as Police Discuss Baker Act and Getting Her Back Into Treatment

Milania Giudice's tense confrontation with her mother at Tampa International Airport has taken on new significance after police bodycam footage reportedly showed officers discussing her recent treatment and concerns about her safety.

The 20-year-old daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was seen screaming at her mother and sister Gia Giudice during the airport incident, while officers appeared to be attempting to keep the situation under control.

According to footage obtained by Page Six, one officer referred to a facility under Florida's Baker Act and said Milania had reportedly been considered a danger to herself.

Police Discuss Baker Act Facility After Airport Outburst

The footage reportedly showed Milania becoming increasingly distressed as officers and members of her family tried to manage the situation at Tampa International Airport. She was heard screaming at Teresa, while police remained nearby during the confrontation.

An officer reportedly told a colleague that Milania had recently been at a facility under Florida's Baker Act and indicated that her family had hired a counsellor while trying to get her back into a rehabilitation facility.

The officer also reportedly said she had been considered a danger to herself, explaining that this was why she had been taken under the Baker Act.

After the confrontation, the group was escorted to their gate by officers, with Milania filming her mother and sister while repeatedly asking, 'This is what we do now?' In the elevator, Teresa told her daughter that after getting help, she would never have to speak to her again, while Gia appeared 'numb' to the situation.

Teresa then urged Milania not to post the video, before saying, 'I don't care anymore. I'm trying to save your life.' She also told officers that Milania 'had fentanyl in her system', a claim Milania disputed, saying, 'Cause I was laced.' The footage does not establish when the alleged fentanyl exposure occurred.

Teresa Giudice Addresses Daughter's Trauma

Teresa addressed the situation publicly on Instagram on Monday, 28 September, asking people to give her daughter privacy while describing the past few months as an extremely difficult period for the family.

'As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety, and well-being of my children,' Teresa wrote, adding that Milania had experienced 'tremendous heartbreak and significant psychological trauma' after losing two of her best friends.

She said her priority was ensuring that Milania was surrounded by 'love, family, support, and the care she needs'. Teresa also asked the public to show Milania 'compassion and kindness' and allow her the privacy needed to heal.

She acknowledged that the family lives in the public eye but said protecting her daughter remained her priority during the difficult period.

Milania Is Now Receiving Professional Help

Milania's family has also confirmed that she is receiving professional support following a difficult period that has included her May arrest and the death of her close friend Victoria Zardoya.

Her manager and longtime family friend Maria DeSantis said Milania is surrounded by people who love her and is 'under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family'.

DeSantis also said the family's focus is on Milania's 'health, healing and well-being', while asking for compassion and privacy. The developments follow Milania's May 14 arrest in Montville, New Jersey, in connection with an alleged domestic dispute.

She was charged with simple assault, a disorderly persons offence, and later pleaded not guilty; her lawyer also said she would complete an anger management class. Milania's friend Victoria Zardoya later died in what was described as a 'terrible and tragic accident' at the age of 20.

Milania paid tribute to Victoria on Instagram, writing about the loss and the plans and dreams they had shared. Milania's father, Joe Giudice, has also spoken publicly about his daughter's struggles, saying she is going through 'a very difficult period right now' and that difficult moments do not define who she is as a person.
