Everybody's Gone To The Rapture PS4
Two figures of light with a story to tell in Everybody's Gone To The Rapture The Chinese Room

Sony has detailed its free game giveaway for PlayStation Plus subscribers this November. As well as continuing the Halloween-theme into November with Costume Quest 2 and The Deadly Tower of Monsters, the upcoming batch of freebies includes The Chinese Room's acclaimed "walking sim'" Everybody's Gone to the Rapture for PS4.

The PS Plus subscribers will be able to download each of the titles from the Instant Game Collection tab in the PlayStation Store from 1 November. Those yet to claim any games from last month's line-up – which included the excellent Resident Evil remaster and the short, but sweet Transformers: Devastation – have until 31 October to do so.

Everybody's Gone to the Rapture immediately stands out as the headline title in the latest update. Set against a sumptuous, Bafta-winning score written by Jessica Curry, the spiritual sequel to Dear Esther tasks players with finding out where the inhabitants of a dainty English town scarpered off to. Here's a clue: It has something to do with a rapture.

The B-movie-styled top down sci-fi shooter The Deadly Tower of Monsters rounds out the PS4 line-up, although the PS Vita's Pumped BMX+ and Letter Quest Remastered are also playable on Sony's home console via cross-buy.

PS3 players meanwhile get Double Fine's Costume Quest 2 – a cutesy RPG-lite starring young trick-or-treaters – and Dirt 3, the last numbered game in the Colin McRae Rally series.
