Dog lovers who like to pamper their pooch may soon be able to put their pet in a hi-tech luxury kennel, but at a price. Samsung Electronics has designed a £20,000 futuristic kennel that will provide any canine with the ultimate in luxury living.

Designed and produced by a team of a 12 designers and fabricators over six weeks, the Samsung Dream Doghouse comes equipped with an an entertainment wall, paw operated snack dispenser, hot-tub spa and AstroTurf treadmill.

Andy Griffiths, president, Samsung Electronics UK and Ireland, said of the luxury kennel: "With the Samsung Dream Doghouse, we wanted to reflect the nation's growing trend for using technology.

The Samsung Dream Doghouse will be on display at the Samsung stand at this year's Crufts, which runs from 5 to 8 March at the NEC in Birmingham.
