Prospective buyers of Samsung's pure mid-range smartphones, the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 in the United Kingdom now have something to cheer about, as the smartphones have finally reached UK shores, and are currently up for pre-ordering within the country.

You can now pre-order both the Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5, from Carphone Warehouse (a major smartphone e-tailer in UK).

Carphone Warehouse is offering both the handsets under its 'Pay Monthly' initiative which costs Galaxy A3 customers £22.50 per month, and Galaxy A5 customers £26.50 per month.

Carphone Warehouse is also offering a SIM-free variant of the Galaxy A3, at a fixed £280. However, Carphone Warehouse has not listed the price of a SIM-free edition of the Galaxy A5.

The e-tailer is also claiming to deliver pre-orders by 12 February which marks the official retail launch date of both the Samsung handsets.

This information is in contrast with earlier reports that suggested that the supply of Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 had hit a roadblock due to multiple production issues which limited the launch of both the smartphones to only select Asian markets.

The USP of both the smartphones is their metallic outer frame, an aspect which has been associated with only Samsung recently.
