Xiaomi Mi 3

Earlier today, the Xiaomi M3 went on sale in India for the second time through online retailer Flipkart. Owing to the massive hype behind the smartphone, Flipkart's entire stock was sold out within a minute of the sale being opened.

Flipkart kept its promise by allowing customers to buy the smartphone at 2pm IST today. The smartphone was launched in the country last week exclusively by the e-commerce site and went out of stock during the first day of sale. It also caused the e-commerce retailer's website to crash.

For those of you in India who are still trying to buy the smartphone, Flipkart's next sale will be on Aug 5 and users will have to register post 6pm IST today if they'd like to buy the smartphone during that sale.

Currently, the smartphone is also being sold on Ebay India, but at a much higher price point than Flipkart's price of Rs.13,999.

Sellers are offering new, boxed Mi 3s for prices between Rs.19,800 and Rs.30,000. For those of you who can't wait till August 5th, this happens to be one of your only alternatives. Check out some of these deals here.

IB Times UK does not endorse any of these deals and will not be held responsible for any adverse incidents.

For the uninitiated, the Xiaomi Mi 3 houses a 1080p 5-inch IPS screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of on board memory. For imaging, there's a 13 megapixel camera in the rear and a 2.1 megapixel camera up front. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat with a layer of MiUI.
