Chinese Idol Yu Yuhan 'Snaps' at Fan After She Allegedly Tries To Open His Moving Car Door
The footage shows Yu Yuhan knocking the woman's phone away as fans crowded him

Chinese idol Yu Yuhan appeared to lose his temper after a female fan allegedly repeatedly tried to pull open his car door while the vehicle was moving and pushed her phone close to his face to film him.
The incident reportedly took place on 21 August 2026 after Yu Yuhan's vehicle was allegedly followed and surrounded by fans. Footage circulating online shows several people surrounding the vehicle as it moved, with one woman allegedly repeatedly pulling at the car door while continuing to film Yu Yuhan.
Yu Yuhan is a Chinese singer who trained under TF Family, the trainee system operated by Times Fengjun.
What Happened During the Yu Yuhan Fan Incident
According to reports and footage of the confrontation, the situation escalated as the woman continued trying to open the vehicle door. Yu Yuhan eventually got out of the car and appeared to swing his fist towards the woman while shouting, 'Are you sick?', before knocking her phone away.
The available footage does not clearly show Yu Yuhan striking the woman; it shows him knocking her phone away. Reports likewise describe him as knocking the phone away without hitting her.

Singapore outlet Mothership also posted footage of the confrontation on TikTok, showing the encounter that has since circulated widely online.
Even after Yu Yuhan confronted the woman, reports said fans continued gathering around the vehicle and filming him.
The footage reportedly surpassed 6 million views on X, as the viral confrontation drew widespread attention to both the fan's highly erratic behaviour and Yu Yuhan's sudden physical response.
Online reaction has been split. Some commenters defended Yu Yuhan, arguing that following his vehicle, pulling at its door and filming him at close range crossed a serious boundary. Others criticised his apparent decision to swing towards the woman, saying his response went too far.
Some supporters also criticised descriptions of Yu Yuhan as having simply 'lost control', arguing that such framing places too much emphasis on his reaction rather than the alleged attempt to pull open the moving vehicle's door.
Why Sasaeng Fans Are Facing Scrutiny
The confrontation has renewed attention on the term 'sasaeng', used in East Asian idol culture for fans whose obsessive pursuit of public figures can involve following them or invading their personal space.
Online posts linked to the incident have also alleged that fans followed Yu Yuhan's vehicle and crowded around him at other locations, although those claims have not been independently verified.
The alleged attempt to open the car door is the clearest safety concern. Pulling at a vehicle door while it is moving could put both the occupants and people outside the car at risk.
Fans Call for Stronger Security
Yu Yuhan's fan club has called on Times Fengjun to increase security personnel around the singer and take legal action against sasaeng behaviour where appropriate, according to reports.
No response from Times Fengjun was cited in the reports reviewed for this article.
The incident has since fuelled calls for stronger protection around Yu Yuhan as scrutiny of sasaeng behaviour continues.
