Adele, Jessie J, Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah Nominated for Urban Music Awards
Jessie J, Example, Adele, Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah have been nominated for this year's Urban Music Awards.
Wretch 32 may not have released his debut album Black And White yet, but he leads the way with a record six nominations including include Artist of the Year, Best Hip-Hop Act and Best Male Artist.
The 26-year-old London rapper said in a statement: "This is amazing news. Thanks to all the fans who nominated me" reports the Metro.
Jessie is up for Artist of the Year, Best Album for Who you Are, Best Female Artist, and Best Single for Nobody's Perfect.
She'll face stiff competition from Adele who has received nods for Adele Best Female Artist and Best Album for the chart-topping 21.
Example has been nominated for four awards: Best Male Artist, Artist of the Year, Best Dance Act and Best Album for Won't Go Quietly.
Other nominees include JLS, Chipmunk, Dappy from N-Dubz, Tinchy Stryder, Chris Brown, Jason Derulo, Tinie Tempah and newcomer Lock Essien.
The ninth annual Urban Music Awards, which are decided by public votes, will be held in London on September 14.
