Apple has just issued iOS 9.2 update for owners of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch around the globe, almost a month and half after making iOS 9.1 available. The build version the OTA update brings is 13C75.

Compared to the previous release, the new release brings a host of notable features apart from fixes and improvements. You should see a bunch of improvements for Apple Music, upon the update. As for the Apple News that made its debut in iOS 9.1, Apple has added a Top Stories section. Siri now supports Arabic language. Besides, the update brings stability improvements for Safari and Podcast. Following is the list of detail changes in iOS 9.1.

  1. You can now create a new playlist when adding a song to a playlist
  2. Your most recently changed playlist is now listed at the top when adding songs to playlists

To install the OTA update, head over to Settings>> General>> Software Update. Make sure that your iOS device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network and has above 80% charge.

Alongside the iPhone operating system, Apple has also seeded another update for its desktop operating system, OS X El Capitan 10.11.2. Weighing in at 1.4GB, this firmware improves the stability, compatibility and security of your Mac. The other changes in this release are:

  • Improves Wi-Fi reliability
  • Improves the reliability of Handoff and AirDrop
  • Fixes an issue that may cause Bluetooth devices to disconnect
  • Fixes an issue that prevented Mail from deleting messages in an offline Exchange account

Apple Watch owners are not left out of this upgrade process. Apple has begun the rollout of watchOS 2.1 that bundles additional language support and bug fixes. Here are the other changes you should notice updating your Apple watch with the new version.

To update your Apple watch to watchOS 2.1, connect the smartwatch to power and keep it on charge until the update is complete. Launch the watch app on your iPhone, tap MY Watch tab>> General>> Software Update. Enter your iPhone passcode or Apple Watch passcode when prompted to do so.
