Investigative Influencer Makes Bombshell Claim About Candace Owens 'Living a Lie' Amid 'Lesbian' Allegations

Unverified claims about four old dating profiles allegedly connected to Candace Owens have fuelled online scrutiny, while the authenticity and ownership of the accounts remain unconfirmed.

Candace Owens is facing renewed scrutiny after researcher Geoffrey Edevane claimed to have identified four old dating profiles allegedly connected to the political commentator.

The claims were published by Edevane on X and his blog. The allegations centre on profiles that Edevane says can be connected to Owens through usernames, email addresses, locations and other historical online information.

However, the underlying evidence has not been independently authenticated.

The profiles are alleged to date from around 2007 and 2008, a period when Owens attended the University of Rhode Island. Edevane points to usernames including "Candamo429" and "Cdot429", which he claims correspond with usernames and email addresses previously associated with Owens.

Edevane also points to what he describes as a 2008 YouTube account using the name "Candamo429". He claims the account featured a video involving Owens at the University of Rhode Island.

Edevane presents those alleged connections as evidence that the dating profiles belonged to Owens.

Candace Owens Dating Profile Evidence Remains Unverified

One of the most significant claims concerns an alleged login to one of the accounts on 12 January 2022.

The alleged login date was after Owens married British businessman George Farmer in August 2019. Edevane interpreted the alleged activity as evidence that one of the accounts remained accessible at the time.

However, an alleged login record does not independently establish who accessed the account.

Edevane also points to locations and other identifying information that he says correspond with places associated with Owens during different periods of her life.

Another claim concerns an IP address that Edevane says matches one associated with the University of Rhode Island. He argues that the alleged match supports a connection between one of the profiles and Owens' time at the university.

Matching usernames, locations, email addresses, or IP information do not, by themselves, conclusively establish who created or operated an online account.

The distinction is important. Even if the historical profile information were later authenticated, it would not by itself establish Owens' sexual orientation or prove that she was unfaithful to her husband.

Online Reaction to Candace Owens Claims

The allegations have generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users questioning the evidence and others arguing that the claims warrant further scrutiny.

Comments on the investigation's website have raised questions about whether the original dating-site data can be independently verified. One commenter said they had searched several OSINT tools for some of the usernames but found limited results.

Edevane responded that, in his view, data breaches cannot be archived in the same way as ordinary webpages. He also claimed the dating profiles had become paywalled by May 2025.

The exchanges show that some users have questioned the evidence and whether it can be independently verified.

Edevane has defended the investigation and said he would pay $100,000 (£75,555) to anyone who can debunk the alleged links between Owens and the four accounts.

The offer does not independently authenticate the underlying material.

The claims have also prompted discussion elsewhere on social media, where users have debated whether the alleged username and email connections establish account ownership.

At present, the central claims remain allegations based on online material that has not been independently verified.

The authenticity of the records, ownership of the accounts, and meaning of the alleged login activity therefore remain unresolved.
