Songstress and fashion diva, Rihanna turned 27 on 20 February, 2015.

According to reports, Chris Brown and Rihanna may have separated, but the Loyal singer has not forgotten to wish her on her birthday.

Sources close to the Bajan pop beauty told Urban Islandz that Chris Brown gave her a call and wished her a happy birthday.

"Because they are not together now people think that they don't speak any at all but they are still friends and still care about each other," the source said.

"Chris called her this morning after she landed in LA and wish her a happy birthday. The call lasted a few minutes and was candid and of course RiRi thought that was a sweet gesture," the source told the website.

The sources revealed Rihanna and a couple of her friends and family had also planned on hosting a private party in LA to celebrate her birthday.

Rihanna is rumoured to be dating actor Leonardo DiCaprio, but neither have confirmed the relationship.

The singer was spotted partying with Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio in New York on Valentine's Day.
