Her comments come as reports continue to link her romantically to Machine Gun Kelly, 36. Johnson and MGK reportedly connected at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's July wedding and have since grown closer, according to an unnamed insider.

The actress made the remarks during a recent Vogue interview, where she discussed the scrutiny surrounding her dating life and the futility of trying to correct online speculation.

Romance Rumours Not Worth Correcting

Johnson was asked whether she could go to dinner with a man without the outing becoming the subject of speculation. 'Even if I go to dinner with my manager or my lawyer, it's like, "Seen with mystery man." It's just like, I also don't care,' she said.

When asked whether she ever wants to correct false reports, Johnson said she would rather direct her attention elsewhere. 'I think it's just kind of futile. People are gonna believe what they wanna believe, and I don't have the energy to fight for that,' she said.

'Every day, there's something on the internet that's ridiculous and true or not true, and I don't care.' Johnson then added: 'Yeah. Like get a life.'

The comments come as reports about Johnson and Machine Gun Kelly's relationship continue to circulate. The pair were photographed arriving separately at the same New York City building associated with Swift's Tribeca home on 11 September. The nature of the meeting was not established.

More recent reports have gone further. Us Weekly cited an unnamed source claiming Johnson and MGK had an 'instant spark' after meeting at Swift's wedding and were 'seriously dating'. The source also claimed the pair had been speaking and FaceTiming daily.

The insider further claimed that Johnson 'really wants to settle down and start a family' but had yet to meet MGK's two daughters, adding that the pair were 'having a lot of fun' while getting to know each other, according to the publication.

OK! similarly reported that the relationship had become serious, citing an unnamed source who described Johnson as 'a hopeless romantic' with 'a thing for musicians'.

The source claimed she was 'completely smitten' with MGK, while suggesting some of her friends had questioned whether he was the right match for the life she ultimately wants.

Neither Johnson nor MGK has publicly confirmed the reported relationship.
