Republican Influencer Says Postpartum Depression Makes Women Use a Racial Slur and the Internet Is Not Having It

Republican influencer Georgia Morgan, known online as the 'Blonde Conservative', has sparked a furious online backlash after claiming that postpartum depression makes women use a derogatory racial slur, turning a serious maternal health condition into the centre of a highly controversial political rant.

In a video circulating online, Morgan said she was convinced that 'post partum depression makes us say n****', a claim that immediately drew criticism from users who accused her of using a serious mental health condition to excuse racist language.

Morgan has also shared photographs from the Trump White House and appeared alongside Republican figures including Byron Donalds, while attending Turning Point USA events.

Controversial Postpartum Depression Claim

Morgan's remark came in a social media video in which she appeared to connect postpartum depression with women using the racial slur. She did not provide medical evidence to support the claim, nor did she explain what research she was referring to.

The backlash was swift, with users questioning why postpartum depression would be presented as an explanation for racist language.

One commenter bluntly wrote, 'Racism makes her say the N-word.'

Another questioned the logic behind Morgan's argument, writing, 'PPD is so bad it makes them say it, but also self-censor it, so I guess it must not be that bad.'

The reaction was not limited to criticism of the wording itself. Some users also questioned the political circles in which Morgan has built her profile, particularly given her public appearances with prominent conservative figures.

Her Comment Arrived Amid a Separate Healthcare Rant

Morgan's latest controversy also follows another video in which she attacked the US healthcare system and described health insurance as one of America's biggest 'legal scams'.

In that clip, Morgan claimed the average American household pays $24,000 (£17,750) a year in health insurance, based on a recent exchange rate of about $1.35 (£1).

She also discussed friends who had given birth and still faced bills of around $5,000 (£3,700), despite having insurance.

'Healthcare costs in our country are insane and it's not a right or left issue,' Morgan said in the video. 'It's us versus the big insurance companies.'

She then argued that Americans were being forced to spend enormous sums while others received healthcare at little or no cost, framing the issue as a broader political failure.

Burger King Hat Reference Adds Another Layer

The Burger King paper hat referenced in reactions to the video has become an online symbol connected to a viral airplane incident involving a disruptive passenger who shouted the N-word while wearing one.

Some far-right and republican-aligned accounts have subsequently used the paper crown as a provocative signal of approval for the slur.

That association prompted further mockery and outrage, with one user attacking Morgan's appearance while another asked Donalds if he was comfortable with the rhetoric being associated with his political movement.

Others focused directly on the racial element. One commenter asked why some white people appeared to believe using the N-word was acceptable, while another sarcastically suggested that 'conservative' was becoming synonymous with 'stupid racist'.
