GTA 5 DLC: Agent Assassination DLC missions and gameplay elements revealed Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games has surprisingly delayed the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) until 24 March, while the internet is abuzz with fresh news about the impending Heist DLC and Agent Assassination DLC missions for GTA Online.

Renowned YouTuber DomisLive (aka Dom) sheds more light on the Agent Assassination DLC missions with due credit to the prolific GTA DLC tipster, Funmw2, who has leaked this information online.

According to Dom, the leaked DLC info has been obtained via some brand new coding found inside the game files in one of the most recent title updates for GTA Online.

The leak suggests that we are likely to see 22 brand new single-player missions as part of the story mode DLC titled as 'Agent Assassination missions' for GTA 5.

As its name implies, the DLC could indeed include Agent themed missions, wherein the DLC could be invariably linked to one of the key game characters such as Trevor.

As Funmw2 tweets, the leaked game files point to a piece of code linked to the casino DLC and the Trevor option for DLC selection screen, wherein the main script reads "main_ZMB".

The script name "main_ZMB" invariably hints at a Zombie DLC for single-player mode.

The leaked game code points to another main script named "main_AGT", which has no description available at the moment.

As Dom points out, the term 'AGT' in the script name could actually represent the Agent Assassination missions or Agent based gameplay, which were created and shelved by Rockstar Games several years ago, but it was never released.

Basically, the Agent missions would put the player undercover to solve the crime mysteries and takedown the targets in GTA 5.

As Fmw2 puts it, it has "something to do with agents or maybe based of Agent game... the world of counter-intelligence espionage and political assassinations".

Apparently, the Agent-based missions would be set during the cold war and take place in the world of counter-intelligence and political assassinations along the lines of Watch Dogs from Ubisoft.

Some of the counter-intelligence missions could revolve around FIB, IAA and so on, as players will be entrusted with the task of completing the assassination missions while playing as Trevor in GTA 5.

Do you think Assassination missions would be a great addition to single-player DLC in GTA 5 or would you rather prefer to play the GTA Online Heist missions? Please leave your comments below.
