GTA 6 Leaker Unveils Wild 'Nudist Town' Footage as Take-Two Subpoenas Microsoft and Discord Online

A fresh leak of GTA 6 footage showing a chaotic 'nudist town' party has surfaced online this weekend, just days before Rockstar Games is due to unveil the game properly in a Netflix Extended Look showcase on Thursday, 27 August, at 8pm BST.

The explicit clip, released by an anonymous figure or group calling themselves Cyberleek, is the latest in a growing trove of alleged GTA 6 gameplay videos that Rockstar's parent company is now scrambling to shut down.

The nudist clip landed after more than a week of steady leaks that began on Tuesday, 18 August. Since then, Cyberleek has posted 10 gameplay videos, all purporting to show an in-development build of GTA 6.

Rockstar has refused to publicly confirm their authenticity, but the videos have repeatedly been hit with copyright strikes, a strong hint that the studio believes they are real.

Earlier clips shared by Cyberleek painted a surprisingly detailed picture of GTA 6 and its new protagonist, Jason.

One video showed Jason managing fuel levels while robbing a string of petrol stations, then refuelling and repairing his vehicle directly at the pumps. Another captured him stealing a car as a non-playable character shouted: 'Stop! The government's stealing my gas!'

Other leaked snippets focused less on crime and more on the world-building Rockstar is known for. Jason wandered through a strip club, peered at his surroundings through binoculars, and piloted a plane over a neon-soaked Vice City at night.

That flight sequence apparently confirmed several songs on the in-game radio, including Lindsey Buckingham's 'Go Insane', 'Devil Woman' by Cliff Richard, and 'Smile' by Jamiroquai.

One clip even showed Jason firing bullets into a wall to spell the word 'leek', which strongly suggests that the person behind Cyberleek has access to a playable development build, rather than just off-screen recordings or second-hand material. That is the kind of stuff that tends to keep lawyers and security teams up at night.

Over the weekend, Cyberleek invited their followers to vote on which footage should drop next. The options were labelled 'Beach', 'Nudist Town' and 'Strip Club 2'. Predictably, the audience picked 'Nudist Town.'

According to people who have seen it, the footage shows a night-time nudist party with full frontal nudity and a wide range of body types, before the player, as Jason, picks a fight and kills several partygoers.

None of that appears to be part of a mission. It looks more like pure sandbox chaos, the sort of thing players do simply because the game allows it. Even so, the combination of graphic nudity, violence and what viewers describe as near-photorealistic visuals is likely to trigger a fresh moral panic once GTA 6 finally lands on shop shelves, or in this case, digital libraries.

GTA 6 Developer Pushes Back as Take-Two Targets Microsoft and Discord

Cyberleek insists this campaign of leaks is a protest against what they describe as Rockstar's 'anti-consumer' decision not to release GTA 6 on physical disc. At the same time, they are reportedly soliciting cryptocurrency donations to keep going, which lawyers will almost certainly bring up if this ever reaches a courtroom.

According to Bloomberg, Rockstar still does not know who is behind the breach or exactly how the material was obtained. Company leaders and staff are said to be 'angry' and 'frustrated,' in part because this is the second time GTA 6 has been hit by leaks.

The first incident, in 2022, was blamed on a lone hacker who later received an indefinite hospital order, but those earlier materials were far less revealing than what is circulating now.

This time, management is described as being 'all hands on deck' as they try to trace the source. Publisher Take-Two Interactive has filed subpoenas with both Microsoft and Discord, seeking records of online accounts allegedly used to upload or share the leaked clips.

Those legal moves, if granted, would give investigators access to account details and possibly IP addresses, but so far there is no public indication that the trail has led to a specific suspect.

Separately, a video appeared online on 24 August that allegedly shows lawyers for Rockstar turning up at someone's home. The individual, who uses the handle 'Pilotx1970' on Reddit, had previously posted a prediction that something related to GTA 6 would happen on 18 August, the day the current wave of leaks began.

Pilotx1970 now maintains they 'accidentally guessed' the date and claims to be innocent. The clip of the supposed legal visit does not mention Rockstar or GTA 6 directly, and, with a rising tide of fake videos and opportunistic scams riding the game's hype, its authenticity is impossible to verify.

What is clear is that Rockstar and Take-Two are chasing down any plausible lead. Copyright strikes have followed each new upload at speed.

Lawyers appear to be circling tech platforms and individuals alike. Yet the person or group posting as Cyberleek remains in the wind, drip-feeding footage as if this were a rolling marketing campaign rather than an unauthorised breach.

All of this plays out against the clock. On Thursday night, GTA 6 is due to re-emerge in a controlled setting, during Netflix's Extended Look showcase. Earlier rumours that the segment would last 30 minutes have since been discredited, and no one outside Rockstar and Netflix seems to know how long the presentation will run or what form it will take.

The big unknown now is whether the leaks will fizzle out once the official reveal goes live, or whether the Netflix show will simply pour more fuel on a situation Rockstar is still struggling to bring under control.
