What Happened Between Kai Cenat and Reggie? Inside the Clover Boys Fallout and Leaked DMs

Streamer Kai Cenat has been pulled into an increasingly public fallout with Reggie, also known as Lil Rodney Son, after his former Clover Boys associate leaked private messages and accused him of failing to answer an urgent plea for support.

The leaked DMs followed days of allegations from Reggie about his relationship with Cenat and the wider Clover Boys group. What began with claims that he felt excluded has expanded into accusations involving friendships, loyalty and other creators in their circle.

What Happened Between Kai Cenat and Reggie?

Reggie publicly addressed his relationship with Cenat in videos posted in late September, saying he no longer wanted to be associated with the Clover Boys.

In a 26 September video, Reggie said he had 'felt left out' and believed his exclusion from the group was deliberate. He claimed Cenat had effectively put him 'on the shelf' despite recognising his potential.

Reggie also suggested remaining attached to a group centred around a creator as prominent as Cenat could limit his own growth.

Despite the criticism, Reggie initially stressed that he did not consider Cenat an enemy, saying he had 'no bad blood' towards him and wishing the group success.

Reggie Leaks Kai Cenat DMs After Plea for Help

The dispute escalated when Reggie posted screenshots of private messages with Cenat on Instagram on 29 September.

The exchange showed Reggie asking to meet Cenat personally and speak to him 'as a brother', rather than as a fellow content creator. Cenat initially responded supportively.

However, later messages shared by Reggie showed him attempting to contact Cenat again on 25 September, asking him to answer an important phone call and describing the situation as 'like cry for help'.

Reggie subsequently questioned publicly why the messages had apparently gone unanswered.

The screenshots do not establish why Cenat did not respond to the later messages or whether circumstances prevented him from doing so.

Inside the Clover Boys Fallout

Reggie's dispute extends beyond his relationship with Cenat.

While discussing the Clover Boys, he criticised members of the group and accused some of prioritising money, fame or online attention over friendship. He also questioned Cenat's treatment of other creators associated with the group.

Reggie separately alleged that Cenat was attempting to influence his cameraman and claimed the streamer was preparing to sue him. No evidence supporting either allegation had been made public in the reporting reviewed, and Cenat had not publicly addressed the claims.

RaKai Denies Claim Amid Reggie Controversy

The controversy intensified after Reggie made a serious claim involving fellow streamer RaKai while discussing his own experiences of childhood sexual abuse.

Reggie alleged that someone had 'taken advantage' of RaKai and claimed Cenat knew about it.

RaKai publicly rejected the allegation, stating that he had never been 'touched in any way growing up'. No evidence substantiating Reggie's allegation about RaKai has emerged.

Fanum Reaches Out as Kai Cenat Drama Grows

Amid the escalating Kai Cenat and Reggie dispute, AMP member Fanum privately contacted Reggie.

Reggie shared Fanum's message publicly, with the streamer encouraging him to distance himself from the surrounding online noise and focus on getting through his personal struggles.

As of 1 October, Cenat had not issued a direct public response to Reggie's central allegations or explained the unanswered messages shared online.
