According to Wolff's statements on a recent podcast appearance, the First Lady reportedly avoids staying at executive residences when presidential executive assistant Natalie Harp is present.

Wolff's Claim About Natalie Harp

Wolff, who has written several books about Trump, discussed Melania's absence on The Daily Beast's Inside Trump's Head podcast. He claimed that Harp had become one of the issues Melania associated with both the White House and her husband.

'Natalie Harp has been one of the issues that that that Melania has had with the White House,' Wolff said. 'She has expressed to people that she does not want to be there when Natalie Harp is there.'

The allegation remains unverified. Neither the first lady nor the White House has publicly addressed whether Harp has influenced where Melania spends her nights or how often she stays in Washington.

The claim has nevertheless gained traction because of Harp's proximity to Trump. She has been described as his 'human printer', reportedly preparing printed material for the president and helping manage information that reaches him.

Trump's 'Office Wives'

Wolff has framed the alleged tension as part of a longer pattern, pointing to Hope Hicks, one of the most prominent women in Trump's first administration.

'Donald Trump has set up this awkward situation between his wife and his "office wives",' Wolff said. He described Harp as the person constantly beside Trump, 'placating him, soothing him, reassuring him', while Melania is not.
