A Facebook post attributed to a rally attendee has drawn attention after appearing to describe involvement in a confrontation with a woman wearing a 'Release the Epstein Files' shirt at Donald Trump's rally in Youngstown, Ohio.

The allegation circulated through an X account called Reich-Wing Watch, which attributed the purported post to Russell Dickert. The original Facebook post and its authorship have not been independently verified.

Footage Shows Confrontation at Trump Rally

Footage reported by Fox News showed an attendee shoving the protester, striking her in the face and grabbing her hair during the event at the Covelli Centre on Monday, 12 October. Officers intervened and escorted her from the arena.

WKBN reported that spokespeople for the Mahoning County Sheriff's Office and Youngstown Police Department said no assault report had been filed as of Tuesday afternoon, 13 October. No arrests had been made in connection with the disturbance, according to the sheriff's office.

What the Purported Facebook Post Said

Reich-Wing Watch circulated the allegation that the Facebook post described its author's involvement in the confrontation. The circulating version quoted the purported statement as saying that the author and two other men 'subdued her and threw her to the concrete' until police arrived.

The statement, if authentic, would appear to describe participation in the confrontation. However, the available material does not establish who wrote it or whether the circulating version accurately reproduces an original post.

The X account also claimed that the Facebook post had been deleted or made private. That claim has not been independently verified.

Police have not publicly authenticated the post or linked its purported author to the person seen striking the protester. The allegation therefore remains unverified and cannot establish that the named individual was involved in the physical confrontation.

Police Say No Assault Complaint Has Been Filed

A Mahoning County Sheriff's Office spokesperson told WKBN that, as of Tuesday afternoon, no one had reported being an assault victim in connection with the disturbance.

A Youngstown Police Department spokesperson also told the station that no such report had been filed. The sheriff's office directed anyone who believed they had been assaulted to Youngstown police or the city prosecutor.

Youngstown police Lt Frank Rutherford said officers would take a report and investigate if the protester came forward.

'No one should be assaulted at an event,' he said. 'If she does want to file a complaint, we will take a report, absolutely, and fully investigate.'

Sheriff's office spokesman Gerry Ricciutti said deputies might not have witnessed the entire altercation. The absence of a complaint at that time did not establish that no assault had occurred or that the conduct was lawful.

Trump Mocks Protester as Police Escort Her Out

The confrontation interrupted Trump's rally ahead of the November midterm elections. The woman's shirt called for the release of records related to Jeffrey Epstein.

Trump called the protester a 'paid protester' and 'scum' and mocked her weight, saying she needed to go on a diet. He provided no evidence for his claim that she had been paid to attend the rally.

As of Tuesday afternoon, authorities had reported no assault complaint or arrests in connection with the disturbance. The purported Facebook post's authenticity and attribution remained unverified.
