'Xiaomi Official' Accused of Having 200 Extramarital Affairs Exposed By Wife: The Truth Behind The Rumour
These viral claims prompted Xiaomi to address the situation directly

A storm of speculation has erupted in the social media following purported claims about a 'Xiaomi official', widely reported to be involved in an astonishing number of extramarital affairs.
These allegations have captured public attention and sparked widespread online discussion. As the story gained traction, Xiaomi stepped forward to address the swirling rumours and clarified the true nature of the situation.
Unravelling the Controversy
Earlier this month, claims regarding a high-profile 'Xiaomi' executive allegedly involved in over 200 extramarital relationships began making the rounds online.
A publication, Dimsum Daily, subsequently identified this individual as Feng Debing, who this report claimed to be formerly the 'Brand Director for Xiaomi Group' in China.
According to the report, Feng allegedly used 'sugar daddy' agreements to engage with over 200 women. These arrangements, referred to as 'maintenance contracts,' supposedly involved him providing financial and other material benefits in return for sexual favours.
Allegations of Deception
The whole situation emerged when Feng's wife reported it after uncovering a collection of private details on his mobile phone. Upon discovering that Feng had allegedly fathered six or seven children with various women, she chose to file for divorce, explaining that 'these children might have been the final straw that broke the marriage.'
The controversy has ignited extensive debate across mainland China, largely centred on the elaborate provisions within the 'maintenance contracts' Feng reportedly signed with the women, which involved substantial sums.

These agreements are said to detail explicit elements like SM practices, unprotected intercourse, attendance rules, and monthly payments, all meticulously laid out as if they were legal documents.
The contracts stipulate that the women are to spend three days with Feng, in return for which they are paid up to 1 million Chinese Yuan (approximately £ 101,836.20) in cash. However, a recent development in this controversy hints at a different reality.
Misidentified: The 'Xiaomi Director'
Recent reports indicate the individual, previously labelled a 'Xiaomi director' and known as a womaniser, actually held a position as a kitchen worker within one of the Chinese electronics company's canteens.
According to a report from Mothership, Xiaomi's PR General Manager, Wang Hua, has confirmed that Feng never held a director position within the company.
This statement clarifies the previous reports regarding his employment.
Xiaomi Clarifies 'Director' Claims
In a Weibo post, Wang Hua, Xiaomi's PR General Manager, clarified that Feng had worked as a kitchen staff member for the company since September 2016. He was then fired in November 2016 due to extended absences. Wang confirmed Feng's brief role involved cutting vegetables and that he never served as a brand director for the Xiaomi Group.
A Potential Scammer?
Following Wang's Weibo post, which dispelled the rumours, it was also revealed in another Weibo post that Feng might be a scammer who manipulated these women and never actually paid them the promised money.
Rather than paying the women, Feng allegedly spent their money, presuming they wouldn't file a police report against him. Additionally, in 2021, he was reportedly involved in a personal lending dispute, which resulted in him being ordered to pay a woman 165,000 Yuan (approximately £16,802.97).
Ultimately, this sensational tale serves as a stark reminder of how quickly unverified information can spread online. While the initial claims painted a dramatic picture involving a high-ranking official, Xiaomi's clarification has brought the true events to light, revealing a very different reality behind the widespread rumour.
