Zendaya and Tom Holland's wedding status has been thrown back into uncertainty after her longtime stylist Law Roach claimed the couple have not yet had an 'official ceremony.'

Speaking on the red carpet at the 2026 Emmy Awards, Roach claimed an 'official ceremony' would take place after Zendaya's Dune: Part Three press tour, despite Holland previously appearing to confirm that they had married.

The latest comments add another twist to the couple's closely guarded wedding timeline, with Roach himself previously claiming they had already tied the knot.

Law Roach Claims Wedding Is Still To Come

Asked whether he had coordinated an earlier revelation about Zendaya being married, Roach admitted: 'Well, I actually lied. She wasn't married. She hasn't, they actually haven't had an official ceremony yet. It's going to happen after the Dune press tour.'

Roach then claimed that, despite Tom referring to Zendaya as his wife, the pair are 'not yet' officially married. He was also asked whether he would be dressing Zendaya for the wedding. 'Of course. Absolutely,' Roach replied.

Roach made the comments while speaking on the Emmy Awards red carpet. Zendaya attended the ceremony on Monday, 14 September, while Holland was also present. However, Roach's latest account is complicated by his own previous statements about the couple's wedding.

Law Roach's Previous Claims

In March, Zendaya's longtime stylist appeared to confirm that the pair had already married while speaking to Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2026 Actor Awards.

Roach said at the time that 'the wedding has already happened' before teasing the reporter with, 'You missed it.' When asked whether he was telling the truth, he laughed and replied: 'It's very true.'

His latest comments mark a reversal from his earlier claims that the wedding had already taken place.

In July, Roach also told Complex that the couple had a private wedding and dismissed speculation about another ceremony.

Tom Holland Previously Confirmed Marriage

Holland appeared to settle the question in June when he seemingly confirmed to Esquire UK that he and Zendaya had married.

While discussing AI-generated wedding images that had circulated online, the actor was asked whether the photos had prompted him to clarify the situation with relatives. Holland replied: 'No, because they were all there.'

He also referred to Zendaya as his wife and revealed that his family had been present for the wedding. When pressed for further details, he declined to elaborate, saying: 'That's all you'll get on that.'

His comments were widely interpreted as confirmation that the couple had privately tied the knot, although neither has publicly shared details of a wedding ceremony.

Post-Dune Wedding Plans

Roach's latest comments place the couple's 'official ceremony' after Zendaya's Dune: Part Three press tour. The film is scheduled for release in the UK and internationally from 16 December, with a North American release set for 18 December.

If Roach's latest account is accurate, the ceremony would potentially take place later this year.

Zendaya and Holland have largely kept their relationship private since becoming romantically linked after meeting on Spider-Man: Homecoming. Their engagement became public after Zendaya was seen wearing a diamond ring at the 2025 Golden Globes.

With Holland previously appearing to confirm that they had married while Roach now claims an official ceremony has yet to take place, the precise status of the couple's wedding remains unclear.
