In the first sign that Bruce Jenner may be ready to present himself to the world as a woman, Kim Kardashian has referred to the former athlete as "she" for the first time on Twitter.

The 65-year-old, who announced in an interview with ABC's Diane Sawyer, that he is undergoing gender reassignment said he wanted to be referred to as "he" for the time being.

However, his stepdaughter Kim Kardashian, has for the first time referred to Bruce as 'she' in a Twitter exchange.

She was responding to a message from a fan who was watching the About Bruce E! Special and commented: "The fact that Kim and Bruce is talking about wardrobe is so cute!!!! #AboutBruce @KimKardashian he's going to be fashionable!,"

Kim replied: "Yes she is!!!! I can't wait!"'

In the episode, Bruce turns to his style icon step-daughter Kim, a former stylist for Paris Hilton, for fashion advice. Going through his wardrobe, the 33-year-old reality star responds saying that until Bruce gets his look together she won't admit to helping him. "I think you have to chic-er than this. Neon has to go," she says.

"I couldn't have a better stylist then you, that's for sure girl," he told her.

Kim replied: "If you keep some of these pieces, I don't want to be known as your stylist!"

Commenting on the exchange another fan wrote: "Hahaha Kim doesn't want credit for styling her until she slays!!'"

Kim replied: "Hahaha she will slay!!!!"

Bruce had earlier described Kim as the most supportive member of the family after his revelation that he intended to live his life as a woman. And while Kim was accepting of his pans for gender transition, and prepared to give Bruce the benefit of her fashion sense, it was the revelation that he had been stealing her dresses that was the biggest shock.

The mother-of-one screamed out loud when he admitted he had already tried on her dresses and even pulled out a black dress that used to belong to Kris. He also confessed to having 'stolen' Kim's makeup.

In an interview with Access Hollywood Kim revealed that she has already seen Bruce as a woman.

She said: "It was amazing and she [Bruce] looked beautiful, really beautiful. She was dressed up, beautiful make-up, beautiful hair, very, very beautiful and very comfortable."

Meanwhile, Mia Farrow is the latest celebrity to show her support to the TV family. The actress tweeted: "I think the Kardashian-Jenner family is handling this complex transition with great compassion, generosity, humor and love. Love them"

It has been reported that Bruce will unveil his new look in the Summer and will complete his transition by Spring.
