Candace Owens Denies Viral Claims She Kept Secret Lesbian Dating Accounts: 'This Is the Most Deranged'

Candace Owens has rejected viral allegations that she maintained dating profiles on websites for women and was unfaithful to her husband, George Farmer, describing the claims as 'the most deranged' fabrication yet.

The controversy began after the X account Esoteric Shaggyism (@EsoShaggy) alleged on 28 September that Owens had created four dating profiles in 2007 and 2008. The account also claimed that one of the profiles was accessed in January 2022, several years after her marriage.

For context, Owens, 37, married British businessman George Farmer in 2019, and the couple have four children, with a fifth expected following her June 2026 pregnancy announcement.

The latest accusations surfaced as Owens continues to navigate other high-profile disputes, including a defamation lawsuit from a Utah man over podcast remarks and her unresolved legal battle with French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

Allegations Based on Purported Data Spark Online Debate

The allegations are based on screenshots and purported archived data shared by Geoffrey Edevane, who posts under the name Esoteric Shaggyism. He alleges usernames such as 'Candamo429' and 'Cdot429' match Owens' known online handles, with email addresses tied to her time at the University of Rhode Island.

One profile, supposedly called 'collegefuck5,' listed a sexual orientation as bisexual and was allegedly accessed in 2022.

None of the allegations has been independently verified. No evidence has emerged to prove that Owens created, controlled or ever logged into the accounts.

Matching usernames or email fragments do not, on their own, establish ownership, particularly for profiles created nearly two decades ago, when digital footprints were far less secure.

Owens responded swiftly on X, dismissing the story as absurd. 'Of everything they've made up, this is the most deranged,' she wrote.

She explained the photo used on one profile was actually a 2015 birthday dinner picture of her with her aunt and uncle, lifted from her personal Facebook. As for her college years, Owens said she had one boyfriend throughout 'the same guy I dated in high school.'

Owens also accused what she described as the 'Epstein class' and alleged that Zionists were behind the claims, although she did not provide evidence to substantiate the accusations.

Conservative Commentators Express Support Amid Ongoing Controversies

Several conservative commentators publicly expressed support for Owens following the allegations. Commentator Harrison H. Smith posted he found it hard to believe 'a girl as pretty as Candace' would have needed a dating site back in their university days.

The response prompted further discussion online, although it did not address the authenticity of the alleged profiles.

This is not the first time Owens has faced rumours about her sexuality. In 2017, she denied being a lesbian on X, writing: 'LOL I'm not a lesbian. Just said that in my first video to make a point about how being a conservative is the new 'gay.'

More recently, in a July 2024 interview with Don Lemon, she called same-sex marriage a sin, a stance consistent with her public traditionalist persona.

Yet Owens has also drawn legal trouble for commenting on others' private lives. Her claim that French first lady Brigitte Macron was born male led the Macrons to sue her for defamation in 2025.
