UFO whistleblower David Grusch told Joe Rogan that US officials are aware of a vast underwater 'base of operations' beneath the ocean, describing it as spanning 'multiple city blocks' and used by mysterious craft that 'come and go' from the site.

Speaking on Rogan's podcast on 30 September, the former intelligence officer said the facility's location was classified and linked to sensitive US Navy activity.

Grusch testified to Congress in 2023 about alleged secret programmes recovering non-human spacecraft. He now says US officials know of at least one underwater facility where craft come and go.

Underwater Base Location Remains Undisclosed

Grusch described the site as a 'base of operations', saying his information came from classified programme files, videos and accounts from government and military insiders.

'There's clearly some sort of base of operations in certain locations. It's large. Don't know when it got there... Like multiple city blocks type stuff.' 'I'm going to be careful because it gets into sensitive Navy underwater things,' Grusch said.

He did not explain how the military discovered the facility, citing the sensitivity of naval tracking methods. He nevertheless said he was sure the US had been studying activity there.

The US military and White House have maintained that no physical evidence proves the existence of extraterrestrial life. Grusch's allegations remain unverified.

Congressional UFO Claims

A former Air Force major, Grusch spent 14 years in the military before working as an intelligence officer for the National Reconnaissance Office, the agency responsible for building and launching surveillance satellites for the Pentagon.

Between 2019 and 2021, he represented the agency on a task force investigating UFOs. He later alleged that parts of the government had blocked congressional oversight of matters involving non-human intelligence.

Grusch testified under oath that secret programmes had recovered and attempted to reverse-engineer crashed non-human spacecraft over several decades. He now assists lawmakers working on UFO transparency.

His underwater claims resemble those made by Tennessee congressman Tim Burchett, a House Oversight Committee member who has alleged that alien 'entities' inhabit deep-water locations on Earth.

Speaking to journalist Matt Laslo, Burchett said, 'We have naval personnel telling me we have these sightings, these underwater craft they're chasing that go hundreds of miles an hour, and the best we got is something that does maybe a little under forty miles an hour.' He also claimed there had been repeated sightings around five or six deep-sea areas.

Rogan Asks About Public Disclosure

Grusch also said he had been shown top-secret video of bodies recovered from the crash site of an alleged alien spacecraft. He described the footage as contemporary, rather than unclear recordings dating from the 1950s.

Rogan asked whether the public would eventually see the footage. Grusch answered 'Probably', saying there was 'a lot of audio-visual stuff', before arguing that recordings alone might not be enough to persuade people.

'The problem with the current climate like you're going to have to wheel out the physical evidence, too, because the trust in government is so low right now,' he said.

He described the beings as 'very beautiful', with pale, bluish-white skin, and alleged that their bodies were being kept in a frozen storage facility for further examination.

Grusch now assists lawmakers seeking greater UFO transparency, while the US military and White House maintain that no physical evidence has been found to establish the existence of extraterrestrial life.
