A GTA 6 gameplay leak circulated online on Thursday, 8 October 2026, reportedly showing protagonists Jason Duval naked and Lucia Caminos topless. The approximately 25-minute recording also appears to feature dirt-bike racing, car customisation and first-person driving.

Rockstar Games has not authenticated the video, which emerged six weeks before the game's scheduled 19 November release.

The footage was attributed to Cyberleek, an unidentified account linked to a series of earlier disclosures. Video Games Chronicle (VGC), which says it watched the recording, judged it appeared authentic but cautioned that parts may have been altered. Forbes contributor Paul Tassi also reported on the account's return after several weeks of quiet.

Rockstar had released its own extended GTA 6 presentation on 27 August, using gameplay captured on PlayStation 5. The new, unauthorised recording allegedly includes scenes absent from that official presentation.

What the GTA 6 Leak Appears to Show

According to VGC, the footage begins with Jason and Lucia shopping for clothes ahead of an event at the Thrillbilly Mud Club. Jason then participates in a dirt-bike race against other riders and vehicles. Later sequences reportedly show a modified car, new decals and a street race.

The more widely discussed scenes concern the characters' clothing. Tassi describes Jason appearing fully nude during movement around the game world and in story sequences. Lucia reportedly appears topless in underwear during a short clip set high above the city.

But an image of an unclothed character is not proof of a player-controlled nudity option. Nor does it demonstrate that such a feature would survive into the retail release. The distinction is particularly important because of another unusual moment described by VGC.

A tank reportedly materialises abruptly before dropping into a river. VGC said it could not establish whether that was a legitimate cheat, an internal development tool or an outside modification. If the footage was manipulated, the character appearances could also have been affected.

The video reportedly includes a first-person perspective, but its significance remains uncertain. Some earlier preview accounts suggested that GTA 6 might omit that view at launch. Rockstar has not confirmed such an exclusion, and the recording cannot settle the question.

The video also raises questions about access. There is insufficient evidence to determine who captured the gameplay, which version was running, or whether Cyberleek possesses a complete playable build.

GTA 6 Release Date and Rockstar's Confirmed Plans

Rockstar's official game page lists Thursday, 19 November 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are open, and no PC release date appears in its announced launch details.

The story follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos through Leonida, a fictional American state containing Vice City. Rockstar describes Jason as a former soldier who subsequently worked for drug runners in the Keys. Lucia has been released from prison and hopes to change her circumstances. A failed robbery pulls the pair into a wider criminal conspiracy.

The game's content-rating information includes nudity. That confirms sexual content is expected, not that players can remove both protagonists' clothes whenever they choose. Details circulating in the October recording remain separate from Rockstar's published feature descriptions.

Cyberleek's claimed motivations have also come under scrutiny. Forbes associated earlier posts with objections to the absence of physical game discs and appeals involving cryptocurrency. Rockstar's online store currently advertises a boxed version containing a download code, rather than a disc.

VGC reported that the latest video ended with a message apparently seeking money for an unspecified gaming project. The account's identity and intentions remain unverified.

In August, VGC reported that Take-Two Interactive was seeking information through subpoenas in its investigation into earlier disclosures. The October footage does not establish whether those efforts have identified the person or people responsible.

One Reddit commenter said they might avoid the internet until Thanksgiving to escape spoilers. Others questioned Cyberleek's fundraising message.

With the game's release approaching, Rockstar's published materials still provide the confirmed launch details. Whether the video's unusual scenes reflect ordinary GTA 6 gameplay remains unknown.
