The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) has revealed the winner's list for the technical categories and opened online voting to the public for its popular categories.

IIFA awards is Bollywood's unique award ceremony celebrating its work and talent on a global platform.

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic on sprinter Milkha Singh starring Farhan Akhtar, swooped majority of the awards with nine wins in the technical category.

Shahrukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express won the Best Song Recording and Best Sound Mixing along with Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Hrithik Roshan's superhero flick Krrish 3 won the Best Action and Best Special Effects – Visuals.

IIFA 2014 is all set to take place in Tampa, Florida, on the 25 April. Having travelled to different parts of the world earlier including the UK, this will be IIFA's debut in the United States, reports BollySpice. The IIFA weekend celebrations are slated to be held from the 23 to the 26 April in Tampa Bay.

The Technical Award winners and the Popular Award nominations are derived from the IIFA Voting weekend that took place earlier this month.

Official auditors of the event, KPMG, follow a stringent and methodical procedure to monitor the IIFA Voting.

The popular category nominations have gone live for people to participate in the voting process.
