Kristen Stewart has reportedly declined Robert Pattinson's invitation to join him in London for Christmas.

It was previously reported that the 27-year-old British actor had contacted Stewart to congratulate her on her new movie, Camp X-Ray, getting an entry into the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Following that, Pattinson asked her to spend the holiday with him.

"Kristen would love to see Rob in London, but she doesn't want to be the source of any tension between Rob and his sisters. She feels like she's on good terms with Rob's mom after all the cheating drama," a source told Hollywood Life.

"If things were different with the rest of his family, she would be there for Christmas, but she still has concerns," the insider added. "The last thing she wants is to bring any drama whatsoever into Rob's world."

Pattinson had ended his relationship with Stewart, who was his Twilight co-star and girlfriend of four years, after it was confirmed that she cheated on him with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. However, the Water for the Elephants actor's family and friends are not happy about rekindling of their romance.

"They can't stand Kristen; his family is terrified that he'll never get away from her," an insider told Life & Style magazine. "They think she's bad news."

Pattinson's family means the world to him, "but there's something about Kristen that he just can't resist", the source added.
