Liv Tyler and her fiancé David Gardner welcomed their second child together on Friday (8 July). The couple, who share 17-month-old son Sailor Gene, have named their baby daughter Lula Rose Gardner.

According to People, the Leftovers actress and her partner's baby girl was born at 8:48pm and weighed in at 7lbs, 8oz. "The family is ecstatic," the actress's representative told the celebrity website.

The 39-year-old actress also has an 11-year-old son named Milo with her ex-husband, musician Royston Langdon, while Gardner has an eight-year-old son, Grey, from a previous marriage.

Tyler introduced her daughter to the world via Instagram on Sunday (10 July) with a black and white photo of her fiancé holding their baby close to his chest. She has captioned the photo: "Hello!!!!! our beautiful baby girl is here !!!! Lula Rose Gardner we are sooooo happy heart exploding with love !!!!! @davidgardner."

Gardner also shared the same photo on Instagram with the caption: "Our gorgeous baby girl has arrived 'Lula Rose Gardner' unbelievably beautiful, healthy and thank goodness she looks like her Momma !!!! Truly blessed ❤️Daddies girl....Now the real work starts training her big brothers to become Ninja's, Martial Arts Experts & 24-7 Body Guards !!! @misslivalittle ❤️."

In January, The Lord Of The Rings actress announced she was expecting and since then had been sharing her growing baby bump on Instagram.

"Ohhhh my goodness look at that bump so pointy and giant!!" she captioned a recent photo she shared on Instagram. "I can't wait to meet the beautiful little human living in there..."
