Chelsea loanee Lucas Piazon is unsure whether he will return to Stamford Bridge once his loan deal at Malaga expires at the end of the season.

The Brazilian left Stamford Bridge to join La Roselada during the January transfer window in bid to secure more first team football opportunities for himself. Having made just three appearances for the Blues prior to the move, Piazon has made 12 appearances for Malaga since January, but admits he is unsure where he be next season.

"I was not playing every game there [Chelsea]," Piazon told Goal.com. They have big players and they were in a bad position at the time... not in a bad position, but Chelsea always want to be at the top.

"So it was hard for me not to be playing every game there, but here in Malaga I am playing almost every game, so for me it has been great for my career to be here and to get this experience.

"Chelsea will change manager [in the summer], so I think after the pre-season they will decide if they want me to stay there or send me to another club for next season. We do not know yet."

With Juan Mata, Eden Hazard and his compatriot Oscar all available in his preferred position at Chelsea, Piazon may find his path to the first team blocked regardless of who takes over at Stamford Bridge this summer.

But despite his reservations, the teenager insists he is more than willing to return to the club and stay for the duration of next season, if given the choice.

"Of course I would prefer to stay at Chelsea," he told Sky Sports. "London is a great city, we have our house in London, my mother and sister live there and I have my friends there.

"I love the club and the people there because I have been there for one and a half years and it is quite a long time. So it is my club. It is the club where I want to be."

The diminutive Brazilian arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2011 from Sao Paulo. The 19-year-old won Chelsea's young player of the year award in his first season at the club, but only managed two Capital One Cup appearances and a single run out from the bench in the league earlier this campaign.
