MAGA Man Defends Trump Entering Pageant Dressing Rooms Then Cites His Public Prayers as Proof of Christianity

A MAGA supporter defending Donald Trump's controversial pageant history was challenged over his claim that the president's public prayers and Christian beliefs prove his faith, creating a striking clash between Trump's conduct and biblical teachings about prayer.

The exchange came during a podcast discussion in which the man repeatedly argued that Trump entering pageant dressing rooms was wrong but did not amount to sexual violence because he did not touch or physically harm anyone.

MAGA Supporter Says Trump's Conduct Was Wrong

The debate centred on Trump's 2005 comments to Howard Stern about entering pageant dressing rooms while contestants were changing. Trump said he could enter because he owned the pageant and described seeing women without clothes as something he could get away with.

The MAGA supporter said he did not condone the behaviour, but rejected the description of it as sexual violence.

'I do not condone it. I don't agree with it. I don't support it,' he said during the podcast.

He argued that Trump did not touch, grope or speak sexually to the contestants, while the host countered that sexual harm does not necessarily require physical contact.

The historical record is more complicated than the discussion suggested. Trump's 2005 remarks referred to Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, whose contestants were adults.

Separately, several former Miss Teen USA contestants alleged that Trump entered a dressing room during the 1997 pageant while contestants, including some as young as 15, were changing. Other contestants disputed or said they did not recall the alleged incident.

Debate Turns to Trump's Christian Identity

The conversation then shifted from Trump's conduct to why the supporter continues to back him.

He cited Trump's policies, including immigration restrictions and taxation, before highlighting what he described as Trump's Christian values.

'His Christian views,' the supporter said, adding that Trump 'prays every single day' and has prayed publicly at the White House.

He also acknowledged that he did not consider Trump a great person, saying, 'No politician. All politicians are shit.'
