Microsoft Lumia 650
Microsoft Lumia 650 rumoured to be last of Redmond’s 5in Lumias Microsoft

Microsoft, which recently launched the Lumia 950 and the flagship Lumia 950 XL, is now rumoured to end production of 5in Lumias after the release of Lumia 650. The Lumia 650 had surfaced unofficially via multiple rumour mills.

Now, according to a tweet by a technology tipster going by the moniker LeaksNow, the Lumia 650 (apparently codenamed Sanaa) would be a metal-clad flagship similar to the current-gen Lumia 640. The latter is also a 5in smartphone, released during early 2015, falling in the category of mid-range handsets.

However, LeaksNow has not disclosed the key technical specs of the purported Lumia 650. The only feature that is known is its 5in display. The handset could be one among the 6 Lumia smartphones that Microsoft was rumoured to release. Out of these, the Redmond-based company has already released three handsets viz Lumia 950, 950 XL and the Lumia 550.

It was also rumoured that many of these six handsets would feature dual front-facing LED flash cameras. These devices are also speculated to be a result of Microsoft's Windows Phone restructuring initiative announced by the company's CEO Satya Nadella in early 2015.
