WWE 2K16 that is slated for release on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms on 30 October may feature a new game mode called Showcase mode aka Stone Cold mode. This new gaming mode will revolve around the prolific wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin.

According to a WrestleZone report that quotes an official 2K forum member, gamers will be able to check and play multiple iconic matches fought by Stone Cold over the years. Presently, a tentative list of the classic matches has surfaced, which includes popular fights from as early as 1994 until 2001.

The fights to be included in the Showcase Mode in WWE 2K16 are as follows:

  • Stone Cold vs Steamboat – from bash at the Beach 1994
  • Stone Cold vs Whipwreck – from November to Remember 1995
  • Stone Cold vs Jake Roberts – from King of the Ring 1996
  • Stone Cold vs Bret Hart – Survivor Series 1996
  • Stone Cold vs Vader vs Bret Hart vs Undertaker – In Your House: Final Four
  • Stone Cold vs The Rock – In Your House
  • Stone Cold vs Shawn Michales – Wrestlemania XIV
  • Stone Cold vs The Undertaker – Rock Bottom 1998
  • Stone Cold vs Vince McMahon – St. Valentine's Day Massacre 1999
  • Stone Cold vs The Undertaker – Fully Loaded 1999
  • Stone Cold vs The Rock – Backlash 1999
  • Stone Cold vs The Rock – Wrestlemania XVII
  • Stone Cold vs Triple H – No Way Out 2001
