Brad Pitt reportedly feels "insulted" because he has been allowed "supervised visits with his children" after he and Angelina Jolie allegedly reached a temporary agreement that gave the Maleficent actress full custody of their six children. The Allied actor apparently cannot believe how drastically his life has changed ever since Jolie filed for divorce on 19 September, citing irreconcilable differences.

Earlier, TMZ had reported that the former couple are undergoing private divorce negotiations concerning custody and visitation of children, temporary support for Angelina and their children, permanent financial support and property split.

According to HollywoodLife, it has been heartbreaking for the 52-year-old actor to spent time away from his six children following the split from the 41-year-old actress. Jolie has reportedly got full custody of their children - Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8.

"He [Brad Pitt] can't stand the fact that he has to have supervised visits with his children," a source told the gossip site. "He's playing along but he is so insulted and he can't believe how drastically his life changed in a matter of weeks."

The development comes after reports claimed that the former couple's children were "upset" as their parents have parted ways. According to reports the children were "begging" their mother to get back with Pitt.

"The kids are devastated and confused about why their parents are suddenly apart. They are all nagging Angelina to get back together with their dad and have everything be back to normal," a source previously told HollywoodLife.

Moreover, it was also reported that the Pitt was devastated following the split as he was not able to see his children.

"He [Pitt] is beside himself and has been crying. He was completely caught off guard. Brad is in a mess right now. He isn't able to see the kids and he is desperately trying to make sure they are OK by calling valued members of his and Angelina's staff," a source was quoted as saying by Us Weekly.

"He isn't worried about his own reputation right now. His complete and utter devastation has come from what his children are going through," the source added.

The former couple married in August 2014 after meeting on the sets of their 2005 film Mr & Mrs Smith.
