Devon Again Replaces KATSEYE at Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields Festival After Megan's Ankle Injury

Rising alt-pop musician Devon Again has joined the lineup for Olivia Rodrigo's inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival as a last-minute replacement for KATSEYE.

The group pulled out of the benefit event after member Megan Skiendiel suffered an ankle injury during tour rehearsals and was advised by doctors to rest.

The lineup change comes just one day before the festival takes place on Saturday, 29 August, at Great Park in Irvine, California. Festival organisers have updated the schedule to accommodate Devon Again, who will perform on the Dandelion Stage from 1:05pm to 1:35pm.

Devon Again Joins Daisy Chain Fields Lineup

Devon Again confirmed the surprise booking on Instagram, expressing her excitement about appearing at the inaugural festival.

'AHHHH!!!!! surprise!!! I am playing @daisychainfields at 1:05 this Saturday :'-) I am unbelievably honored to be a part of such a special day. I hope to see you,' she wrote.

Her addition has also prompted a schedule change for Santigold, whose set has been moved to 2:15pm to 2:45pm, the time previously allocated to KATSEYE.

Devon Again will join a bill featuring Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, Garbage and The Breeders. Special guests include Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan and Karen O.

The updated Dandelion Stage schedule will see Eli perform from 11:55am to 12:25pm, followed by Devon Again, Santigold, Mitski at 3:40pm, Doechii at 5:20pm and Roan at 7:00pm. Rodrigo and special guests are scheduled to close the stage from 8:40pm to 10:00pm.

KATSEYE Withdraws After Megan's Injury

KATSEYE announced its withdrawal on Weverse on Friday, apologising to fans who had planned to attend the festival.

'We're so incredibly sorry to share that we are unable to perform at Daisy Chain Fields this Saturday,' the group said. 'Megan sprained her ankle yesterday during tour rehearsal and after being evaluated by doctors, she has been advised to stay off it and allow it to properly heal so we can be ready for our upcoming tour.'

The group acknowledged the disappointment caused by the cancellation, saying it had been particularly excited to perform at Daisy Chain Fields because of its focus on 'joy and community'.

'We know how much our fans were looking forward to seeing us, and it breaks our hearts to disappoint anyone who made plans to be there,' KATSEYE added.

The group also sent its support to Rodrigo, the other performers, non-profit organisations and volunteers involved in the festival.

The injury comes as KATSEYE prepares for its upcoming tour while already performing without members Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman, who are both taking temporary breaks from activities.

Net proceeds will benefit organisations including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, the Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, the National Domestic Workers Alliance, the National Institute for Reproductive Health, the National Women's Law Center and Planned Parenthood.

Organisers have wished Megan a 'smooth and speedy recovery' while welcoming Devon Again to the 2026 lineup. The festival is sold out.
