Earthquake of 6.6 Magnitude Hits Siberia
An earthquake of 6.6 magnitude hit southwestern Siberia, Russia, on Tuesday at 10.21 pm local time, the US Geological Survey has said.
The epicentre of the quake was 94 km (58 miles) east of the city of Kyzyl, Russia.
The depth of the earthquake was relatively shallow at 6.9 km (4.3 mile). There were no immediate reports of casualties in the sparsely populated region of Russia.
