Rapper GloRilla, born Gloria Hallelujah Woods, is making headlines for more than just her music after a home burglary led to her own arrest. The 24-year-old artist, known for hits like 'F.N.F. (Let's Go)' and 'Tomorrow 2', is facing charges after deputies uncovered drugs during an investigation at her metro Atlanta home.

According to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the residence around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning after three men broke into the property while Woods was not home. The suspects were reportedly stealing items when someone inside the house fired a gun at them. Authorities said the intruders fled and are not believed to have been injured.

Drug Discovery Leads to Arrest

During their investigation of the crime scene, deputies detected the smell of drugs, prompting a further search. In the master bedroom closet, officers discovered what was described as a "significant amount of marijuana" along with a controlled substance. Although she was not present during the break-in, Woods was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana and a controlled substance.

She turned herself in to the Forsyth County Jail on Tuesday and was released shortly after on a $22,260 bond, as confirmed by Variety.

'The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice,' said Sheriff Ron Freeman. 'At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case.'

Previous Run-Ins With the Law

This isn't the rapper's first run-in with Georgia authorities. In April 2024, she was arrested for DUI in Gwinnett County. Bodycam footage from the incident captured her asking officers, 'Do you know who I am?' and reportedly showed signs of impairment, including an accidental moment of exposure.

GloRilla's Rise to Fame

GloRilla, whose net worth is estimated at $2 million, has been a breakout figure in rap since 2022, when her single 'F.N.F. (Let's Go)' went viral on TikTok. Her debut EP 'Anyways, Life's Great' and 2024 mixtape 'Ehhthang Ehhthang' have both charted on the Billboard 200.

Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Woods began rapping in high school and has since collaborated with artists like Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, and Moneybagg Yo. Her career has not been without controversy. In early 2023, a stampede at her concert in Rochester, New York, resulted in three deaths and seven injuries after fans believed they heard gunshots. The venue was later shut down indefinitely.

While GloRilla continues to climb the charts, her recent legal troubles serve as a stark reminder of the challenges that can come with fame. Her representatives have yet to comment publicly on the latest charges.
