Andrew Schulz blasts Trump Administration over Epstein files

When a comedian who voted for you turns the microphone into a megaphone for rage, it's worth paying attention. Andrew Schulz did not just criticise the Donald Trump administration in a recent episode of 'The Brilliant Idiots'—he torched it, calling out Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and the president himself over broken promises on the Epstein files.

For listeners who backed Trump in 2024, Schulz's fury might hit hardest. This is not opposition from the usual voices; it is a voter questioning whether the 'drain the swamp' promise was ever meant to be kept.

Schulz Tells Bondi to 'Get the F*** Out'

Andrew Schulz did not hold back when he addressed Attorney General Pam Bondi in Saturday's episode of 'The Brilliant Idiots', co-hosted with Charlamagne tha God. Schulz told 'shorty' Bondi to 'get the f--- out' after a claim attributed to her went viral online, suggesting she said, 'If we prosecute everyone in the Epstein files, the whole system collapses'.

The quote has since been fact-checked by Snopes as an 'incorrect attribution' to Bondi, but the damage to her public image was already done. Schulz's response speaks to a deeper frustration with how the Justice Department has handled transparency around the late sex offender's network.

'This is the fear s--t that they try to stoke in us. They're like, if all these people were going to prison, the system would collapse', Schulz said. 'And it's like, shorty, every four, eight years, we replace the leader of the country. ... We are used to replacing. The system is built for interchangeable figures', Schulz continued. 'So stop giving us this bulls--t. ...What she's basically saying is, "Hey, America runs on paedophiles. So without it, we won't have a system." Get the f--- out of here.'

Schulz and Charlamagne Slam Bondi's Congressional Hearing

Schulz and Charlamagne spent the first half of their two-hour episode dissecting Bondi's recent congressional hearing, where she was grilled on the DOJ's handling of the Epstein investigation. The pair slammed Bondi for deflecting questions about the late sex offender and pivoting to stock market statistics instead.

'The reality of the situation is there are people who are so morally corrupt that they would be like, "Yeah, let's think, let's talk about the money"', Charlamagne said. 'Like they really don't care about some of the biggest leaders in the world f--king little kids that are still in positions of power now.'

Bondi has faced harsh criticism from multiple public figures following the hearing, including CNN's Jake Tapper, late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel, her former drinking buddy Ana Navarro, and a GOP representative who has led the charge to demand the release of the Epstein files.

Schulz Criticises FBI Director and Trump Administration

Andrew Schulz also took aim at the Donald Trump administration for failing to follow through on campaign promises to release the Epstein files. Even after a tranche of documents was released last month, Schulz expressed disappointment that the Justice Department's newly unredacted files were still partially redacted by other agencies, including the FBI.

'The FBI got in there first', Schulz said. 'This administration's FBI. The administration that said it was going to release the Epstein files. The Trump guy who said, "I'm campaigning on releasing the Epstein files," right? And draining the swamp. The guy who specifically appointed two people who built their entire identity, almost, around exposing the Epstein files and justice for the victims. Those two people, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino.'

For Schulz, who interviewed and voted for Trump in 2024, the gap between rhetoric and reality has become impossible to ignore.

Both Parties Failed to Hold Epstein Accountable

Democrats are not exempt from Schulz's criticism either. He noted that Epstein had been investigated from 'administration to administration', yet his actions seemingly went unpunished for decades. 'I didn't also know that they were unanimous in protecting paedophiles and protecting rich people who f*** kids', he said. 'I didn't know that that was part of their job as institutional politicians.'

Schulz has been increasingly vocal about his disillusionment with Trump since the president took office last year. He previously shared that he declined an invitation to Trump's inauguration, telling The Daily Beast last March, 'My feeling is, I'm a comedian. Now that you are in power, you will get these jokes.'

The podcaster has also expressed his disapproval of Trump's immigration agenda, citing the death of VA nurse Alex Pretti as a pivotal moment in the president's immigration policy.
