Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus: Country-wise price list of SIM-free variants

Apple's new iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus launched on 9 September were rumoured to have the same price-tag as those of their previous-gen counterparts. However, the prices of the latest iPhones have increased in select geographies around the world due to the appreciation of the US dollar against different currencies.

Now, the prices of SIM-free/carrier-unlocked Apple's iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus have surfaced. According to Redmond Pie, prospective buyers of Apple's new smartphones can expect competitive price-tags.

iPhone 6S after-effect

The prices of the older iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 5S have dropped significantly after the launch of the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus.

The price of the iPhone 6 has been reduced by $100, and is now available for $99 under a two-year carrier contract in the US. The 64GB edition has also received price-cuts and is available for $49 against $149 earlier.

Even the larger iPhone 6 Plus is available at a reduced price of $199 (16GB) and $299 (64GB) respectively. Likewise, a 16GB iPhone 5S is available for $0 under contract in the US. A 32GB variant can be purchased for $49.
