Newly released Justice Department records reveal books, clothing items and personal products Epstein ordered online between 2014 and 2019.

Court documents released as part of the latest Jeffrey Epstein file disclosures have shed new light on the convicted sex offender's private spending habits, including a series of Amazon purchases made over several years. The records, made public through Justice Department material tied to Epstein-related investigations, detail items ordered between 2014 and 2019.

The newly revealed purchase history has drawn renewed attention because of the nature of several products listed. Investigators and experts say the combination of certain items offers an unsettling glimpse into Epstein's behaviour and mindset during the final years of his life.

Epstein, a former financier who died in jail in 2019, has remained at the centre of ongoing public scrutiny. The latest release adds another layer to the record of evidence tied to his case.

What the Newly Released Files Reveal About Epstein's Orders

The Amazon purchase history includes a number of books, some of which have been widely discussed because of their disturbing themes. Among the titles listed was Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, a novel that centres on the abuse of a young girl. Court material also referenced photographs linked to the Epstein files that contained quotes from the book.

In addition, the records show Epstein ordered Justine by the Marquis de Sade, an 18th-century work known for graphic content. Another book included in the purchase history was The Stranger Beside Me, Ann Rule's memoir about serial killer Ted Bundy.

The filings also documented purchases beyond literature. Investigators noted clothing items, including girls' school uniforms shipped to one of Epstein's properties, which experts described as particularly alarming in context.

Experts Say the Combination of Items Raises Serious Concerns

Trauma psychologist Desiree Nazarian, quoted in reporting tied to the document release, said the mixture of child-coded clothing alongside intimate wellness products is 'clinically alarming'. She explained that these patterns often appear in predatory profiles, reflecting coercion, entitlement and a desire for control.

Nazarian also suggested that certain costume-like purchases listed in the files could point to role-play dynamics linked to dominance. Items such as an FBI costume and other uniform-style clothing were included among the orders detailed in the documents.

Controversial books, clothing, and personal products form part of the broader investigative record.

While purchase records alone do not establish additional criminal charges, experts say the context surrounding Epstein's history makes these details especially troubling. The disclosures have intensified calls for transparency about the full scope of his activities and networks.

Why Epstein's Shopping History is Back in the Spotlight Now

The renewed attention comes after US Attorney General Pam Bondi stated that the department had released all investigative materials required under the Epstein Files Transparency Act. In a letter cited in media coverage, Bondi said the department provided 'all records, documents, communications and investigative materials' that fall under the act's categories.

Officials have framed the latest disclosures as part of an effort to meet public and congressional demands for accountability. At the same time, some sensitive material has remained restricted due to privacy protections and the graphic nature of certain evidence.

Millions of pages of emails, photographs and investigative files have been released in stages since late 2025. Justice Department officials have said some records were withheld to prevent the distribution of explicit child exploitation material and personal medical information.

Even so, Epstein's Amazon purchase list has become one of the most widely discussed elements of the newly public documents. The mix of books, clothing and personal products has prompted further debate over how long Epstein's behaviour continued unchecked.

As more records are reviewed, the disclosures are expected to fuel ongoing scrutiny of the individuals and systems that enabled Epstein for years.
